Principles for Responsible, Sustainable, & Inclusive AI

The Tortora Brayda Institute’s Principles for Responsible, Sustainable, and Inclusive AI define TBI’s approach to responsible AI adoption across industry, government, academia, and civil society. They reflect TBI’s revitalized mission as an independent global think tank advancing responsible technology innovation, AI governance, cybersecurity, partnership excellence, and positive societal impact.

The principles are designed to help organizations align AI strategy with human dignity, transparency, lifecycle risk management, sustainability, data responsibility, accountable governance, and continuous improvement. They also emphasize practical safeguards such as human recourse, third-party and procurement oversight, AI literacy, and workforce readiness.

We invite partners across industry, government, academia, and civil society to adopt these principles as a shared reference point for responsible AI development and deployment. They are not a substitute for law, regulation, or sector-specific standards/frameworks, but they are intended to help organizations align values with action. TBI looks forward to working with our partners to turn responsible AI commitments into measurable, collaborative impact.
